EDITED: Summarizing the Big Ideas Project

UPDATE: Our project has completed.

Through out the project, we have been successfully coordinating between each other as group members. From the beginning to the end of the project, I have always tried my best to work diligently and assiduously to ensure the highest calibre of quality in our work. From researching online to conducting movie creation sessions, I feel that I have used my best effort in being able to produce the best project I possibly can. When we started the project, I made it my initiative to research all the possible web platforms we could use for this project and took the time to learn more about inDesign, the tool that we would use to build the newspaper. I also coordinated with the teacher regarding the project for the group and many other leaders in the tech industry to understand the best platforms we could be able to use for our project. We wanted to make sure that the platforms we used to develop the project would be ever-lasting and that it would be easier for students to use the platform we built, many, many years later. I also led the video production workshop in my English class, individually tending to each student's problems and explained the procedure on how to produce the movie using the software iMovie. Overall, I felt that the project was very successful for the point we got up to.

The project went very smoothly, but our future wasn't as smooth as our past. With software compatibility issues to incorrect picture formatting, our team and Mr. Skillings worked hard to get this magazine from an idea to an actual publication. However, these issues were overlooked as the magazine was very highly regarded in the entire school and we felt very proud of our hard work and dedication to this magazine.

The effects of our project were pretty significant. We developed a large platform for students to be able to show their work towards the community. We developed a platform were students can get rewarded for their efforts towards the community. Most importantly, we made something great. Not only did our efforts he the students in the present, but we also prepared them for something greater at hand. They learned the expertise and skill to be able to develop full-scale movie projects. They learned some basic techniques at making movies and shooting interviews. We definitely tried our best to benefit the students in as many ways possible, we, as a group, hope that these students will be able to fully experience everything provided to them through this project and hopefully achieve success out of it.

It has been a hectic 2 weeks. From creating the pages to contacting groups for better material to put in the magazine, the entire process was very stressful and traumatic at times. I wanted to be the one who would be held accountable for anything wrong with the magazine and I tried my best to direct my other group members and myself to design the magazine in the best way possible. With the late night 2 A.M. sessions to coming to the classroom on the weekend, I felt that this one of the best projects I have done. I would like to thank Mr. Skillings for giving me an opportunity to work as tech support for the groups and as a designer of the magazine for the project.

Thank you everyone for making our magazine a success.
